SC Arms Store Policies

General Policy

By placing an order with SC Arms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all store policies outlined below. SC Arms reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time without prior notice.

If you have questions regarding any policy, please contact us prior to placing your order.

Firearms Purchases

All firearms purchased through SC Arms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder unless otherwise permitted by federal, state, or local law.

It is the customer's responsibility to:

  • Ensure the firearm is legal to own in their state and local jurisdiction.
  • Verify that their selected FFL dealer will accept the transfer.
  • Provide accurate transfer dealer information in a timely manner.

SC Arms will not be responsible for delays caused by missing or incorrect FFL information.

Customers denied during the background check process may be subject to cancellation, processing, shipping, and restocking fees.

Firearm Transfers

Transfer fees for firearms purchased from another retailer and shipped to SC Arms are determined by current store pricing and are due at the time of transfer.

All transferred firearms must be picked up within 30 days of arrival unless prior arrangements have been made.

Firearms left beyond 30 days may incur storage fees.

Ammunition Sales

Ammunition sales are final.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all ammunition purchased is compatible with their firearm before ordering.

Due to safety concerns, ammunition cannot be returned or exchanged once shipped.

Optics, Accessories & General Merchandise Returns

SC Arms accepts returns on most new, unused accessories and merchandise within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be in new, unused condition.
  • Original packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included.
  • Product must not show signs of installation, modification, or use.

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Firearms Returns

All firearm sales are considered final once the firearm has been transferred to the purchaser by the receiving FFL dealer.

Customers are strongly encouraged to inspect firearms prior to completing their transfer paperwork.

If a firearm arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Notify SC Arms immediately.
  • Do not complete the transfer until the issue has been documented.
  • Photographs may be required to process a claim.

Firearms transferred to the customer cannot be returned as new merchandise.

Defective Products & Warranty Claims

Manufacturer warranties vary by brand.

Defective products may be covered directly by the manufacturer.

SC Arms will assist customers in contacting the manufacturer when possible, but warranty service remains the responsibility of the manufacturer unless otherwise stated.

Firearms requiring warranty work after transfer should generally be sentdirectly to the manufacturer.

Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled before shipment may be subject to a processing fee.

Special-order items, distributor-direct shipments, and NFA products may not be cancelled once submitted for processing.

SC Arms reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Pricing errors
  • Inventory discrepancies
  • Suspected fraud
  • Product restrictions
  • Regulatory compliance concerns

Shipping Policy

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days.

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

SC Arms is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carriers
  • Weather
  • Distributor backorders
  • Manufacturer delays
  • Government regulations

Once an order has been shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

Customers should inspect all packages immediately upon receipt.

Claims for damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

SC Arms is not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered by the carrier but subsequently lost or stolen.

NFA Products

Suppressors and other NFA-regulated items are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

All NFA sales are final.

Due to the nature of the NFA approval process:

  • No refunds will be issued after submission of Form 4 paperwork.
  • Processing times are determined by the ATF and are beyond the control of SC Arms.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring NFA ownership is legal in their jurisdiction.

Inventory displayed online may not always reflect real-time availability.

SC Arms reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders resulting from system, supplier, or typographical mistakes.

Compliance Notice

Customers are responsible for understanding the laws applicable to their location before placing an order.

Orders that violate applicable laws or restrictions will be cancelled.
