Ordering & Purchasing
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed directly through the SC Arms website. Once your order is submitted, you will receive an order confirmation email.
How quickly will my order ship?
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days after payment has been received and verified. Special-order products, distributor-direct items, and custom products may require additional processing time.
How will I know my order has shipped?
Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing tracking information.
What happens if an item is backordered?
If your order contains a backordered item, SC Arms may hold the shipment until all items are available. If significant delays occur, our team may contact you with available options.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
If your order has not shipped, contact us immediately and we will make every effort to update the address.
If the order has already shipped, it must be returned to SC Arms before it can be reshipped. Additional shipping charges may apply.
Firearms
Can firearms be shipped directly to my home?
No. Federal law requires firearms to be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer unless otherwise permitted by law.
How do I choose an FFL dealer?
You may select a local FFL dealer during checkout or provide their information after placing your order. We recommend contacting the dealer beforehand to ensure they will accept the transfer.
What if my FFL dealer has never worked with SC Arms before?
Your FFL dealer can email a copy of their license to SC Arms. Once received and verified, we can process your shipment.
What happens if I fail the background check?
If you are denied during the background check process, your order may be subject to shipping charges, processing fees, and restocking fees.
Can I return a firearm after completing the transfer?
No. Once a firearm has been transferred to you by the receiving FFL dealer, the sale is final.
What if my firearm arrives damaged or incorrect?
Inspect the firearm before completing the transfer paperwork. If there is any issue, do not accept the transfer and contact SC Arms immediately.
Ammunition
Can ammunition be shipped to my home?
In most states, yes. However, some states require additional documentation or shipment to an FFL dealer.
Can ammunition be shipped to a PO Box?
No. Ammunition cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.
How is ammunition shipped?
Ammunition is shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground only and cannot be shipped using air services.
Can I return ammunition?
No. All ammunition sales are final.
Do I need to provide identification when ordering ammunition?
Depending on your state, you may be required to provide identification, permits, licenses, or other documentation before your order can ship.

Magazines & Restricted Products
Can SC Arms ship magazines to all states?
No. Magazine capacity restrictions vary by state and local jurisdiction.
Which states limit magazine capacity?

What happens if I order a restricted magazine?
Orders containing prohibited magazines may be canceled and refunded. Processing or restocking fees may apply.
Are law enforcement officers exempt from magazine restrictions?
In many jurisdictions, exemptions may apply for law enforcement and military personnel with proper credentials.
Shipping & Delivery
What shipping carriers do you use?
SC Arms primarily uses USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on the product being shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, SC Arms only ships within the United States where permitted by law.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Territories?
Certain products may be restricted or unavailable for shipment to these locations. Please contact us before placing your order.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
No. At this time, SC Arms does not ship to APO/FPO addresses.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
Once a carrier marks a package as delivered, SC Arms is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Customers should contact the carrier directly regarding delivery issues.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Returns & Refunds
What items can be returned?
Most new, unused accessories and merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
What condition must returned items be in?

Do I need a return authorization?
Yes. Customers must contact SC Arms and receive return authorization before sending any product back.
Are shipping charges refundable?
No. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Are restocking fees charged?
Certain returns and cancellations may be subject to restocking fees.
Order Cancellations
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled before shipment; however, a restocking fee may apply.
What is the cancellation fee?
Orders canceled before shipment may be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
Can ammunition orders be canceled?
Once ammunition orders have entered processing, they cannot be canceled.
What happens if I fail to provide required documentation?
If documentation required by your state is not provided, your order may be canceled and cancellation fees may apply.
Can SC Arms cancel my order?
Yes. SC Arms reserves the right to cancel orders due to inventory issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, or policy violations.
Warranty & Defective Products
What if my item is defective?
If you receive a defective product, contact SC Arms immediately.
Does SC Arms handle manufacturer warranties?
Most warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer. We are happy to assist customers in locating warranty information and initiating the process.
What if my firearm requires warranty work?
In most cases, firearms requiring warranty service after transfer must be returned directly to the manufacturer.
Legal Compliance
Am I responsible for knowing my local firearms laws?
Yes. Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with all federal, state, and local laws before placing an order.
Can SC Arms refuse a sale?
Yes. SC Arms reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates applicable laws, regulations, or company policies.
Why do you require permits, FOID cards, or identification?
Certain states require additional verification before firearms, ammunition, or restricted products can be shipped. SC Arms complies with all applicable state and federal regulations.
